Fok metal band looking for musicians near Aarhus
Hey everyone! I’m a 45-year-old multi-instrumentalist based near Aarhus, looking for musicians interested in forming a folk-metal band.
I have around 15 original songs composed and recorded as a one-man project, but making music alone is only half the fun, I would really like to develop the songs with other musicians, rehearse together and eventually play live.
I sing and play Irish bouzouki, electric guitar, bass, Irish flute and tin whistle. I’m particularly looking for:
• Drummer
• Electric guitarist
• Bass player
The music combines folk melodies and traditional instruments with metal, ranging from serious and atmospheric songs to more energetic and humorous material.
The existing recordings would give us a starting point, but I’m not looking for hired musicians to copy them exactly. I’d like to find people who want to contribute their own ideas and build a proper band together.
Age and technical perfection are not especially important. Enthusiasm, reliability and enjoying the music matter much more.
