Seeking Sufi Musicians for EUPHORIA – Copenhagen
Under the umbrella of the International Sufi Trance Collective, founded in Copenhagen in 2025, we are forming a music band that brings the spirit of Sufism onto international stages and festivals—building a community of Sufi musicians and vocalists from across the world, united under the power of music that transcends boundaries.
I am Allan Alans — musician, composer, and founder of the International Sufi Trance Collective. My work includes numerous Sufi releases on Spotify and other platforms, in collaboration with vocalists from different countries, featuring the words of Sufi poets such as Jalal al-Din Rumi, Ibn Arabi, Ibn al-Farid, Al-Hallaj, and others.
Our vision is to establish a dedicated Sufi ensemble that rehearses both existing and upcoming works, preparing for live concerts and festival appearances.
We are looking for:
Instrumentalists (Eastern and Western instruments, including percussionists)
Vocalists/Chant Performers (male & female) for both solo and choral parts
What we value in you:
Based in Copenhagen (or practically able to attend regular rehearsals, at least once a week)
A spiritual sensitivity and respect for the Sufi experience, with openness to improvisation and collective listening
Familiarity with maqamat and rhythm, plus reliability in rehearsals and performance preparation
What we offer:
